Pokhara Restaurants

Pokhara has an excellent selection of restaurants serving Italian, Mexican, Nepali, Chinese, Indian and Continental. Often the food is the same quality in many of the places, but the atmosphere and the clientele. The main restaurant area is in the Lakeside area, but there are several good places in Damside.
The restaurants near the lake are friendly place and are good for finding a trekking partner.
There is not much happening in Pokhara after 11 pm.
Cheap is under Rs 150. Low between Rs 150 and Rs 250 and Medium is Rs 250 to Rs 500.

Lakeside
Lake Breeze Restaurant, at the north end of the lake, has a
Boomerang is a popular outdoor place with a large lawn and garden overlooking the lake. It has excellent views. It has good breakfasts and snacks. Low.
Fewa Park Restaurant, near door, is a good place.
Little Tibetan Tea Garden Little Tibetan Tea Garden, on the main road from Camping Chowk, has very good Tibetan, Italian, pizza and Mexican in a nice setting in a small bamboo grove. Cheap.
Moon Dance has a rooftop terrace and good Indian, Italian, pizza, Mexican and Chinese food. It has a friendly laid-back atmosphere and a fireplace. It has a great location. Low to Medium.
Ganga Restaurant has good baked goods. Cheap.
Sheela, near Camping Chowk, is a popular very good bakery that is good for breakfast.
Ganesh Bakery is a good place for breakfast. There are great views from upstairs.
Mike’s Restaurant, in the Hotel Fewa, has an excellent located with a terrace right next to the lake. It is the only place with a lake front. It has possibly the best food in Pokhara. It has sandwiches for Rs 100 to Rs 175 and soup and salad is Rs 50. It is a good value. It is operated by Mike of Mike’s Breakfast in Kathmandu. Medium.
Beam Beam, on the west side of the road, has a pleasant garden and inside it has a big TV. It has a good food and service.
Pumpernickel Bakery, next door, has a nice garden and is popular in the morning. It has a good selection of cakes, breads and pastries.
Everest Steak House has good views and a nice garden. Low.
The Rice Bowl, opposite, has Tibetan, Indian and Chinese dishes. It has a view from the top floor.
Hungry Eye, past the Royal Palace, is one of more established place. It has good pizza, cakes, and Indian. It has a cultural show nightly. Medium.
Lhasa Tibetan Restaurant has good food. Besides Tibetan food is also has Indian food, pizzas and salads. A main dish is from Rs 50 to Rs 100. Low.
La Bella Napoli is a decent place with pizzas, pastas, baked goods, and Continental dishes.
Le Bistro, nearby in Lakeside East, is a good place with Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican and apple pie.
Fish Tail Lodge is a good place with a garden and a great view of Machhapuchhare on a clear day. It has a set breakfast for Rs 575 and Rs 800 for a buffet lunch or dinner. The buffets are only set out in the high-season. Individual meals are around Rs 900. Expensive.

Damside
Rodeo has a good location next to the lake. It has good breakfasts and baked goods. Low.
German Bakery has baked goods and good breakfasts. It overlooks the lake and has good views. Cheap.
Bamboo is a laid-back friendly place. Cheap to Low.
